Nothing Phone 3 Ditches Glyph Interface for New “Glyph Matrix”

Nothing has officially teased its upcoming Phone 3, introducing a new design element called “Glyph Matrix. ” This departure from the previous Glyph Interface suggests a dot matrix-style lighting system on the device’s rear.
The company, led by Carl Pei, has updated its social media profiles with a logo reflecting this new design. This “Glyph Matrix” appears to be an evolution of the signature backlighting found on earlier Nothing phones.
However, the newly teased design does not match previously leaked renders of the Phone 3. These leaks had suggested a design similar to prototype Phone 3a models, lacking the prominent LED setup now hinted at.
The dot matrix approach could allow for more complex and customizable light patterns. Users might be able to map specific notifications to intricate patterns, like a WhatsApp logo appearing on the back.
Further details about the Phone 3 and its “Glyph Matrix” are eagerly awaited by consumers.
