Ted Lasso Season 4 Officially Confirmed: What We Know So Far

Ted Lasso’s highly anticipated fourth season has been officially confirmed by Apple TV+. Speculation has been rampant since season three concluded, fueled by teases from executives, the creative team, and cast contract renewals.
Apple officially announced the renewal in March 2025, with the head of programming, Matt Cherniss, praising the show’s global impact and its spread of positivity. Most of the beloved cast is expected to return, although Phil Dunster, who plays Jamie Tartt, faces potential scheduling conflicts.
Jack Burditt, known for “Modern Family” and “30 Rock,” joins as an executive producer, aiming to bolster the writing team. Jason Sudeikis, the show’s star, may have a reduced role in season four, allowing more focus on the ensemble cast.
A significant new storyline will introduce AFC Richmond’s women’s team, adding a fresh dynamic to the popular comedy series.
