Samsung Nears One UI 8 Stable Release for Galaxy S25

Samsung is reportedly close to releasing the stable version of its One UI 8 software for Galaxy S25 devices. Currently, One UI 8 is available in a beta version, allowing users to experience Android 16 on their Galaxy phones.
While the beta is largely stable, a stable release aims to fix any remaining issues. A new build with the version number BYFB, specifically the ‘B’ indicating it’s not a beta, suggests Samsung is nearing the final rollout.
Although this build doesn’t introduce new features, it does ensure existing ones, like the new clock style, function correctly. The stable One UI 8 update is anticipated to coincide with or follow Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for July 9.
This event is also expected to feature the launch of the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, making it a logical platform for the software’s official release.
